  7. EasyFax consists of an external FAX modem and FAX software to send and receive
  8. CCITT Group 3-compatible facsimile documents. EasyFax uses Motif graphical user
  9. interface and allows the user to compose fax documents whcih include page
  10. header, ASCII text, graphics, screen dump, and scanned images
  11.  
  12. The external FAX modem communicates with SCO PC through a serial port. With the
  13. optional EasyScan Image Scanning System, the user can scan paper documents and
  14. send through FAX. For good quality computer FAX documents, the optional
  15. EasyRead OCR software can convert FAX images into ASCII text without tedious
  16. retyping.
